Welcome to Salt Bridge Farm
At Salt Bridge Farm, located in Toms River, New Jersey, we are more than just a working organic farm — we are a community committed to healing, sustainability, and empowerment. As part of a non-profit mental healthcare organization, our farm blends regenerative agriculture with social purpose. Here, working the land isn’t just about growing food; it’s about building connection, purpose, and resiliency.
What You’ll Do
If you join us as a WWOOFer (farm volunteer), you’ll dive into a variety of meaningful, hands-on projects, including:
- Clearing fallen trees, branches, and overgrown areas

- Composting and enriching soil health
- Starting seeds and managing greenhouses
- Tending to our aquaponic system, nurturing both fish and plants
- Practicing permaculture and regenerative growing techniques
- Participating in youth mentorship and community outreach initiatives
These tasks not only help sustain the farm, but also feed into our mission of healing through service and connection.
